iGoogle vs Windows Skydrive

Upload all three tab and table assignments (from Wed. May 18) to both your iGoogle and Skydrive.  Look at the document with leader tabs and the document with the table.  Compare and contrast iGoogle and Skydrive.  What differences do you notice?  Do you prefer one over another?  Why?

  1. On Windows Skydrive, the document is exactly the way i typed it in on word. On iGoogle, the tab settings are not the same. It doesn't have all the dots after i press tab. iGoogle doesn't include your leader tabs. I like Skydrive better because it shows you exactly how the document was created.

  2. On Windows Live, it shows you the exact document you saved, including your leader tabs. On Google Docs, it doesn’t show you the exact document you saved-it doesn’t include your leader tabs. Also on Google Docs it shows you a different font than you saved. I prefer Windows Live over Google Docs because I would rather see the exact document I saved.

  3. On Windows live it stays the same as your original document and on Google docs it changes it and doesnt show the tabs. And google documents is hard to organize. I would chose Windows Live over Google Documents.

  5. I usually use iGoogle because it's my home page on my computer, but now that iv used Windows Sky Drive I realized that it is more convinient because it has EXACTLY what you wrote. On iGoogle, the documents you put in there aren't really exactly what you wrote. The tabs are off center, the font is different, and the spacing of the paragraphs are reset to 1.0

  6. I like skydrive better because I feel it is easier to use then igoogle. On igoogle some of the things change but with skydrive it shows everything exactly how you made it.

  7. On windows live you can upload way more things and on google docs you are limited to uploading only documents. I prefer to use windows skydrive because of that and i like how it is set up better. It is easier to use.

  9. On skydrive, my document was preserved exactly how I originally made it. iGoogle messed up my tabs, my font, and my spacing. I prefer skydrive because it changed nothing.

  16. Igoogle does not display the tabs while Skydrive displays the tabs. I prefer Skydrive because of that reason.

  19. I think Skydrive is easier because it uses word, which I am more familiar with. The tabs are much easier to find in Skydrive, also. I prefer Skydrive.

  20. I saw that iGoogle compressed my table and didn't mess up tabs in my document, Windows Skydrive kept my document as is. I like skydrive more because it kept all my documents the same.
