Assistive Technology and Google Docs Reflection

Now that you are finished with your group assignment on Assistive Technology I would like you to reflect on your experience.
  1. Do you find Google Docs easy to use?
  2. What are some advantages of using Google Docs?
  3. What are some disadvantages of using Google Docs?
  4. Did you have any specific problems using Google Docs?
  5. How could Google Docs be used in other classes?
  6. Do you think you'd use Google Docs to share things with friends?
  7. Any other comments regarding Google Doc's "Cloud Computing"?

    1. I found google docs very easy to use.
    2. You can share many documents with your piers so you dont have to waste paper.
    3. You have to know the persons email address to share the document with them.
    4. No i didn't.
    5. We could share orjects just like we did in this class.
    6. Yes we could use it to show our friends anything we made in a document.
    7. Nope. :)

    1. I found Google docs easy to use but had some complicated parts
    2. With Google docs you can actually revise a paper any were without even having Microsoft Word.
    3. The sharing of documents is pretty hard.
    4. I had no problems
    5. In another class you can also do a project with friends over the internet.
    6. Probobly not
    7. I have no other comments.

    1. It is confusing at first, but once you get started, its pretty easy.
    2. You can share documents with people.
    3. It isn't as advanced as Microsoft Word and it doesn't have a lot of the features.
    4. The scroll bar didn't work when sharing documents.
    5. To share documents with a teacher.
    6. No.

    1. I found it somewhat easy.
    2. You can share documents with other people.
    3. You must know the persons e-mail to be able to send things.

    5. It can be used by other class, by having them help to edit your work.

    5. you could write a paper and then with out a flash drive work at home or at annother compputer.

    2. You can work on things at home without saving it to your flashdrive.
    3. There are no disadvantages.

    5.Yo could save projects and work on them at home.

    1. Yes, Google Docs is easy to use.
    2. You can share documents with people quickly and easily.
    3. A disadvantage is that you need people's emails in order to send your document.
    4. I had no troubles using Google docs.
    5. You can turn in other classes' homework with Google Docs.
    6. I might if I ever need to/

    1. Yes, I find Google Docs very easy to use.
    2. The advantages of using Google Docs is being able to share different pieces of work with others in a faster way.
    3. Some disadvantages of using Google Docs is that if you do not have the person(s) email, you cannot share the documents.
    4. The only problem I had was my group not turning anything in.
    5. Google Docs could be used in other classes by having other students help edit your work.
    6. Yes I think I could use Google Docs to share other documents with my friends.
    7. I do not have any more comments.(:

    1.after i understoud what to do
    2.you can work on school work at home
    3.you needed to know their emails to share
    4.i didnt understand it at first
    5.doing homework at home by saving work onto google docs

    1. Yes, I found Google Docs easy to use.
    2. Some advantages are you can connect with other friends if you are working on a project and share information with each other.
    3. You have to know the persons email adress , and its hard to know what is what when you have so many docs.
    4. No, I did not have any specific problems with the google docs.
    5. If your working on a project with another person you can share your work.
    6. Yes i would.
    7. Nope there is nothing else to say.

    1. Google docs was easy to use
    2. Google docs are easy to share your documents and they can be edited by your peers
    3. People may be unfamiliar with it so it would be hard to understand without correct training
    4. My group didn’t send me anything
    5. To send a report to your teacher or peers for editing and for studying or tutoring
    6. I don't think I would use google docs to share anything because there is plenty of easier websites out there

    4. I have only rrecieved one of my groups documents
    5. You could share what you did with other class and turn your homework in if you were absent.

    1. yes i thought google docs was simple and i use it with all of my other school projects now.
    2. it is very simple, you can upload any document you want.
    3. i dont know any disadvantages at all really.
    4. i didnt have any problems with google docs.
    5. i have been using google docs to write my senior menior essay at home by re uploading it everytime i write something new so not all of the essay is written at school
    6. yes, i would use it to send friends a document to look off of.

    5. Instead of using paper, you could send your homework to your teachers

    7. I think that this could eventually change the way kids do homework. I hope that we can use this in school instead of using paper, so we can save a lot of money!
